Martial Arts of SIlat

Good evening dear sportaholic lovers and readers,
Here again i am writing another sport that might really interest you.
How are you doing today?Hope you are with your love ones to do sport every week to have a healthy body.The other day there is a reader that would like us to post about silat and so,now i present the blog post to out dear reader and sporaholic fans.

Well today,i am going to write to you guys about SILAT.What is silat???
Well silat is a collective word for indigenous martial arts of the Indonesian archipelago and Malay peninsula of southeast Asia.Mostly,the martial art is being traditionally practice in Singapore,Malaysia or Indonesia.There are hundreds of different styles but they tend to focus basically on strikes,joint manipulation,throws,bladed weaponry,or some combination of skill. 




Silat is usually use as self defense in the olden days for Malay and Indonesian people.It is a form of strength and power that one person could earn.They will find a Guru which mean a teacher to teach them silat martial art skill for self defense because they wanted to protect their family from pirate and bad people.Last time,they Silat is learn for man only, but now in the modern world can be learn by man and woman. as a form of learning.

Now Silat is spread throughout the world such as Germany,England and many more. Silat are now recognize in SEA GAMES.

The white strap as you can see is called bengkong aslo known as belt to be tie to the waist
